CCD Book Club report

Everyone who was able to make it to the October book group meeting enjoyed delicious dinner, dessert, and lively conversation about the book, Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution by Rainn Wilson. Conversation about this compelling book involved sharing personal, spiritual, and political perspectives.  

Our next meeting will be at the Democratic Party HQ, 217A North Broadway, on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m.. Our book group is open for new members and anyone who would like to engage in fun discussion and friendly banter, 

The book for the November meeting is  War by Bob Woodward.

At the meeting we selected Cassandra Speaks: When Women Are the Storytellers, the Human Story Changes by Elizabeth Lesser but it was suggested that we switch to War by Bob Woodward since it is so timely during this election. We will read Cassandra... for a future meeting.

By the 20th we may hopefully know what the future holds.  🙏🤞
